Born and raised in Lucknow, lovingly known as Anu Eliza Samuel (Anumol) to her parents, Mrs. Aleyamma Samuel & Late Mr. T. D. Samuel. Anu has a younger brother, Aji David Samuel. Anu hails from Attachackal, Kerala from an Indian Orthodox family. 

Anu was one of the eldest amongst her cousins, known as the one who would provide words of comfort and wisdom. Likewise, amongst friends, she was cherished as a support and guide, wise beyond her years.

Anu completed her schooling from St. Joseph Cathedral School, Lucknow, and completed graduation from Isabella Thoburn College.
After marriage, she was a much loved member of Allahabad Mar Thoma Church.  Anu worked in Accounts Section at Ewing Christian Public Senior Secondary School, Allahabad. 

Anu is sorely missed by family and friends alike, and was known for her gentle, caring nature, words of wisdom and infectious smile. 

Anu faced all adversity with a God given strength & determination, and touched the lives of many.
